100% Linen - except Opalescent (Clear) on Raw which is 94% Linen and 6% Metallic

Cashel Linen is a premium quality needlework fabric that is preferred over other brands of cross stitch fabric by many who enjoy various forms of needlework, including cross stitch, hardanger, embroidery, blackwork, and more.  A 100% pure linen evenweave fabric. It has similar qualities as Dublin but its finer weave makes it more suitable for delicate designs. The extensive color range allows the stitcher a choice when creating a new masterpiece.

Most cross stitchers stitch “over 2″ on linen fabrics.  This means that the stitcher would cross over 2 threads when making an “x”.  Because of this, the final project size would be the same as if it were stitched on 14 count aida.

Zweigart, the sole manufacturer of Cashel Linen, distributes cross stitch fabric throughout the world and gives all of their linen fabrics a different name according to the stitch count of the fabric. 

Dublin Linen is 25 count
Cashel Linen is 28 count. 
Belfast Linen is 32 count,
Newcastle is 40 count
